From initiating the Art Leasing Program and curating numerous exhibitions, to managing significant public art projects, Christine Murray will illustrate and explain the history of Art-Built-In Policy. Christine is a Senior Procurement Manager in The Public Art Unit within Project Services, Department of Public Works. She has managed public art projects with budgets in excess of $3.5M. Find out how designers can be successfully involved with Integrated Art and Project Services. LEANNE PEARCE (SECOND SPEAKER) Leanne Pearce is a founding member of Corporate Art Centre. Leanne developed Corporate Art to service the design community, both the commercial and residential sectors. As an experienced art consultant with over 20 years experience, Leanne leads the field in providing integrated art solutions for hotels, resorts and multi residential developments. The experience of Corporate Art Centre is global. They have been commissioned for both international and local projects. One professional milestone for Leanne was working with Versace Fashion House to develop the total art work package for Palazzo Versace Hotel at the Gold Coast. Leanne with her expertise builds a strong relationship with the designer to facilitate the concept vision of integrated art to the design concept. Leanne will discuss their process using various projects as case studies to demonstrate how we can apply these principles within our design practice. |
